The STEVAL-ISA102V2 from STMicroelectronics is a 80W high performance transition mode PFC evaluation board based on L6562A. The L6562A is a current-mode PFC controller operating in transition mode (TM). With the same pin-out as its L6562 predecessor, the L6562A offers improved performance mainly in terms of efficiency and noise immunity. The STEVAL-ISA102V2 implements an 80W, wide-range mains input and a PFC pre-conditioner suitable for lighting, adapters and consumer SMPS, etc.
- Line voltage range from 88VAC to 265VAC
- Minimum line frequency (fL ) is 47Hz
- Regulated output voltage is 400V
- Rated output power is 80W
- Maximum 2fL output voltage ripple is 10Vp-p
- Hold-up time is 20ms (VDROP after hold-up time is 300V)
- Minimum switching frequency is 35KHz
- Minimum estimated efficiency is 92% (VIN = 90VAC , POUT = 80W)
- PCB type and size is single side, 35μm, CEM-1, 108mm x 57mm
