The MCP651EV-VOS is a MCP651 input offset evaluation board intended to provide a simple means to measure the MCP651 input offset evaluation board op amp's input offset voltage under a variety of operating conditions. The measured input offset voltage (VOST) includes the input offset voltage (VOS) plus changes due to power supply voltage (PSRR), common mode voltage (CMRR), output voltage (AOL), input offset voltage drift over temperature (ΔVOS/ΔTA) and 1/f noise. The MCP651 input offset evaluation board works most effectively at room temperature (near 25°C). Measurements at other temperatures should be done in an oven where the air velocity is minimal.
- Potentiometer to set MCP651's VCAL voltage
- Push button switch to initiate a calibration sequence in the MCP651
- DUT footprints for either SOIC8 or PDIP8 parts
- DIP switch to select either high or low gain for the measured offset (VOS)
- Test Points for inputs, outputs and other supplies
