S1005-KIT-1

The S1005-KIT-1 is a 2-part Epoxy Adhesive for many substrates including Raychem polyolefin heat shrink tubing, Raychem moulded parts and adaptors, aluminium alloy standard connector end fittings and other metals including mild steel, brass and copper. The Raychem S1005 thermosetting low viscosity epoxy polyamide adhesive is supplied in polythene bottles and can be mixed by volume or weight. One bottle contains part A, the pale yellow epoxy and the other bottle contains part B, the polyamide hardener which is amber.

• Excellent fluid resistance
• 1 kit contains 1 178ml bottle of Part A Epoxy (pale yellow) and 1 89ml bottle of Part B Polyamide Hardener (amber)
• Adhesive will be sufficiently cured after 24 hours at room temperature
• Cure cycle above 60°C is recommended for greater bond strength
• Mix ratio by volume one Part A to two Parts B
• Mix ratio by weight two Parts A to three Parts B
