GY13R010025V705R is a GY13R0 series 3V cylindrical supercapacitor that delivers excellent value with high capacitance and low ESR. Designed to be placed directly across a 3V primary battery, it eliminates the need for voltage regulation or cell balancing typically required by lower voltage cells. This makes it ideal for providing peak power support in a variety of applications. These include energy harvesting for wireless sensors, GSM/GPRS data transmission, and last-gasp communication or safe-state activation at the end of battery life. It also supports low-power batteries like Lithium Thionyl Chloride during automatic meter reading and final transmissions. Additional uses include peak load support for locks and actuators, portable drug delivery systems, and short-term power bridging during battery hot swap operations. The GY13R0 series offers a reliable solution wherever high power bursts are needed from compact, maintenance-free energy sources.
