MAX16072 is a ultra-small, ultralow-power, microprocessor (μP) supervisory circuit feature a precision band-gap reference, comparator, and internally trimmed resistors that set the threshold voltage. Designed to monitor the system supply voltage and assert an output during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions, this device provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when monitoring nominal system voltage from 1.8V to 3.6V. This has a push-pull, active-low reset output. The device is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. The devices also include a manual reset input (MR). Application includes portable/battery-powered equipment, cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, digital cameras.
- Manual reset input, ±2.5% threshold accuracy over temperature
- Guaranteed reset valid to VCC = 1.0V, immune to short VCC transient
- Operating voltage range from 1.0 to 5.5V (TA = 0°C to +85°C)
- Supply current is 0.7µA (typ, VCC = 1.8V for VTH ≤ 1.66V)
- Detector threshold hysteresis is 6.3mV (typ, VCC rising, VTH ≤ 1.66V)
- Output-voltage low is 0.4V (max, VCC ≥ 1.2V, ISINK = 100µA)
- MR (active high) minimum pulse width is 0.8µs (min, TA = -40°C to +85°C)
- VCC to reset delay is 20µs (typ, VCC = (VTH + 100mV) to (VTH -100mV))
